Founded in 1963 in Felino, in the province of Parma, La Felinese Salumi S.p.A. is now one of the leading producers of deli meats in Italy.
La Felinese produces a complete range of deli meats in four production plants, all located in the province of Parma, in the heart of Italy’s “Food Valley”: three plants in Felino for the production of cooked ham, Mortadella, Salame, Pancetta, Coppa, Culatello, and pre-sliced meats, and a plant in Sala Baganza for the production of Parma Ham P.D.O..
Our close ties with the Parma area is shown by our range of typical traditional products: Salame Felino, Parma Ham P.D.O., Specialities of Parma such as Coppa, Culatello, Spalla di San Secondo or Pancetta are utterly unique products, and over time have become famous throughout Italy.

These typical products are joined by cooked ham and Mortadella which represent over 50% of the range by volume, and which the company supports with highly competitive marketing and branding strategies.

At La Felinese, our policy is to highlight and promote our high-end brand, offering a traditional top quality product with the aim of creating value for our customers, end consumers, employees, and suppliers.

The company operates on the Italian market with two brands: La Felinese, intended for large-scale distribution and wholesale customers, and Tesori del Castello®, a line of whole deli meats for slicing, intended for normal trade/traditional retail customers.

The huge success of our premium line supported us in pursuing our policy of quality and excellence to continue offering our customers only the very best of the Italian deli meat tradition.

The product portfolio of La Felinese, which has traditionally concentrated on whole products for slicing, has been enriched by a wide range of pre-sliced products. We are investing significant resources in these products since we are certain that the segment of pre-sliced meats, and the self-service sector in general, is going to play a key role in the entire deli meat sector.

Constant improvement in product quality has enabled La Felinese to obtain BRC and IFS certifications for its pre-sliced and dry-cured ham lines.  These standards’ requirements include the implementation of an HACCP system, a documented quality system, and regular checks on products, processes, staff and environmental conditions at the plant.
